One of the oldest forms of therapy, massage relieves pain, relaxes, stimulates and tones the body. Regular massage can have the effect of strengthening and toning the entire body mechanism, and so help to prevent unnecessary strains and injuries that might otherwise occur due to excess tension and any resulting structural weaknesses. At its best, massage has the potential to restore the individual physically, mentally and spiritually.

Deep Tissue Massage is good for chronic muscle tension. This form of massage addresses deep layers of tissue, can relieve painful trigger points and break down adhesions. Deep tissue is especially designed for releasing tension in neck and shoulders, to help achieve proper alignment. Deep Tissue massage is ideal for the active person who works hard and plays harder.

Lymphatic Massage: This is a very gentle massage to boost the flow of normally stagnant fluids. This external massage is directed to specific areas of the lymphatic system, nodes, and other areas involved in waste removal and delivery of nutrients. It is an excellent way to detoxify the body. It is important to be well-hydrated 24 hours before and after this massage.

Myo-Therapy 7 Step Release is the revitalization, rehabilitation, and re-education of the body's holding patterns, restoring physical health, full range of motion, and emotional health. Myo-Therapy is designed to be a highly intuitive process, where the therapist does more than just "rub" the superficial muscles for the purpose of relaxation. This process can be just as relaxing as a wonderful Swedish Sedona massage. Some clients want a deep, active therapy, while others prefer a gentler, nurturing approach. Either can be achieved using this type of therapy.
Polarity Reflexology: Drawn from ancient Eastern techniques, polarity reflexology is good for stress reduction, wellness, and balancing the body, by applying acupressure to body meridians. Points are stretched and compressed to release tension. Polarity reflexology combines working with the energy in your body to bring full body awareness through connecting points in your body. This type of massage encompasses feet, hands, ears, neck and cranial unwinding, which in turn, restores the body to its natural health and harmony.
Yoga Sports Massage: Combining my training both as a yoga instructor and massage therapist makes this massage experience truly transformational. Aimed at performance, this massage technique uses compression, deep transverse direction, and assisted yoga stretching, that aides in preparing the body for activity or helps it recover after working out or playing hard. This unique intuitive massage is designed for individuals wanting more detailed work on specific muscle groups or areas of chronic pain, to improve athletic performance, and speed recovery time from injury. Yoga sports massage focuses on muscles used in a particular sport, although it is not just for athletes: pre-event sports massage techniques can also invigorate and recharge one’s spirit and energy.
Swedish Sedona Massage: While many of the strokes were developed at the Esalen Institute in California, Swedish Sedona was designed for Arizona. It is a light flowing massage that emphasizes nurturing and sensuality through long relaxing strokes. Try 4 hands! Your body will love the difference and melt into a relaxing sensation of releasing tension and giving into 4 hands exploring your body. When it is combined with Spa Treatments or Therapeutic Massage, it provides a wide range of pressure to choose from, so your massage will be tailored to your specifications.
Trigger Point Massage: This unique treatment serves to facilitate pain relief and healing through use of the skeletal muscles and associated trigger points. Trigger points are small, hypersensitive areas usually found in a tight or contracted muscle. Trigger points have an acute ability to refer pain and other sensations to distant body parts. When pressure is applied for 10-15 seconds, the client often feels pain in another area of the body. This is a great way to melt away tight knots and tension in the muscle.
